Will We See an Artificially Intelligent Smart Home?

Will we see a real artificially intelligent smart home in our lifetime? At CEDIA, Alex Capecelatro of Josh.AI gave an amazing presentation on the future of home automation. Voice control, he claims, is just the beginning. Soon we’ll be able to have an intuitive interface that’s able to adapt to our needs at an unprecedented rate. There are already options in the market to control your home via your smart home, including smart locks, windows, lighting systems, pools, shades, and even toasters. Of course, these ideas open the doors for the possibility of artificial intelligence in the home of the future. These pose a threat to your home with the rise of hackers having access to your home is rather terrifying if you ask me. You can see Capecelatro’s full speech and presentation below on artificially intelligent smart homes.
