Best Build Videos On YouTube

Build videos have become massively popular over the past few years, flooding YouTube with recreations of various gear from shows, movies, and comics. Let’s take a look at the best build videos available on YouTube.

Channel Awesome: Freddy Krueger Claws

While Channel Awesome is mostly known for shows such as The Nostalgia Critic, they also have an entire series dedicated to creating props for their skits. In this particular episode, Jim Jaroscz recreates Freddy Krueger’s claws from Nightmare on Elm Street. And we’re posting this just in time for you to learn for next Halloween!

Man At Arms: Honedge

One of the most popular build series on YouTube, Man At Arms commonly creates weapons from popular culture. However, this time around, they went to a whole new level: making a Pokémon. A Pokémon that also happens to be a sword. In this episode, they recreated Honedge, the Steel- and Ghost- type Pokémon appearing in the sixth generation games Pokémon X and Y. Want to hear more obscure Pokémon knowledge? No? Fine, just watch the video.

Odin Makes: Infinity Gauntlet

With all the hype building up for Avengers: Infinity War, it’s the perfect time to watch all the great YouTube content building up to the movie. You know, like the trailer that somebody bootlegged on their phone and Marvel refuses to officially release for some reason. Well, in order to keep you excited about a movie you’ll see no matter what, check out YouTube channel Odin Makes’ recreation of the Infinity Gauntlet.

Michaelcthulu: Buster Sword

While I’ve never been a big fan of the Final Fantasy franchise (as I’m just not a JRPGs and inexplicable hairstyles), I have never played Final Fantasy VII. However, I am aware of the popularity of the main character Cloud and his righteous-but-impractical weapon the Buster Sword.

Man At Arms: Wolverine Claws

While Freddy Krueger’s claws are pretty impressive, let’s be honest: we all would prefer Wolverine’s adamantium weapons. After all, they always look cool, they’re an iconic part of the X-Men arsenal, and they probably hurt like crazy every time they’re unsheathed.
