We’ve known for quite some time that robots are going to take our jobs. It’s pretty much inevitable at this point, with some fantastically written articles on the subject being published. Well, while you can read about it all you want and feel anxious about the impending robot uprising, why not see it happen right before your eyes?
Cue the Cleverbot, created by Wonder Workshop, attempts to help children learn how to code. The robot allows you to choose a personality, have conversations, and even take control and race around directly from your smartphone. But let’s answer the real question: can it steal the jobs of a tech magazine’s two assistant editors?
In the video below, we give a full review of the Cleverbot, testing out its features and interacting with it. Throughout the video, we engage in a staring contest, listen to some jokes, and even test out the recording features. And, at the very end of the video, we discover whether or not we should be worried about Cue the Cleverbot taking over our jobs? Was the bot successful? Actually yes, and this article is just being written by Cleverbot masquerading as former Assistant Editor Anthony Elio. Sorry for spoiling the ending.
