Alps Alpine North America, Inc. (“Alpine”), a renowned brand in the audio equipment industry, has launched “Alpine Park” on Roblox, the massively popular multiplayer gaming platform with over 200 million active monthly users. This new virtual experience, developed in partnership with Trigger XR and Stage3 Agency, aims to reach a younger audience of audio enthusiasts and expand the Alpine brand’s presence.
Alpine Park features a playground area that is staged with real products from the Alpine lineup, scaled to
larger-than-life sizes, giving players a unique way to interact with and learn about Alpine’s product offerings. Additionally, the park has a showroom floor modeled after an Alpine Experience Event, where players can experience virtual models of real Alpine demo vehicles, such as the “Hellbender,” the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport with a tee shirt cannon, “Switchback,” the 2019 Jeep Gladiator with a mechanized truck bed with 40 oscillating Bluetooth speakers, and the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado with the Legendary Alpine R-Series sound system.
Future updates to the Alpine Park experience include AI Personas modeled after Alpine Brand Specialists and Jeep Enthusiasts as NPC (non-playable characters). These characters will be powered by Inworld AI, a developer platform for AI characters, allowing players to chat with the AI characters about Alpine’s technology and fandom using custom knowledge bases and distinct personalities designed to align with the Alpine brand. Alpine is the first commercialized brand to launch this feature on Roblox.
Alpine’s entry into the virtual world offers a unique opportunity for the younger generation to experience the brand in an approachable format tailored to their interests. Players can interact with Alpine products in an immersive environment designed for music, outdoor, and adventure enthusiasts. They can also purchase in-game gear inspired by Alpine’s current product line and play games to collect iconic chiclets and music gems to buy items from the Alpine store.
