In the less than a week since supporters of President Donald Trump stormed Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, the FBI has issued a dire warning.
According to a ABC report, the Federal Bureau of Investigation “armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols from 16 January through at least 20 January, and at the US Capitol from 17 January through 20 January.”
It has been reported that people are being encouraged to storm not only Washington, DC, again, but every state, local and federal courthouse in the event Trump is ousted prior to January 20, 2021.
“The FBI received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC on 16 January,” according to the bulletin. “They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment, a huge uprising will occur.”
Little information is shared about who the group is organizing these activities, but the FBI appears to have taken the threat quite serious. ABC also reports that law enforcement agencies around the country have been placed on high alert at the advice of the FBI.
FBI Follow-up Arrests
Following last week’s violent breach of the US Capitol Building, the FBI has been working quickly to arrest individuals they have identified. The arrests have been fueled in part by a social media campaign showing dozens of faces taken from photos shot in and around the capitol.
The #FBI and our partners are seeking information to help us pursue individuals who instigated violence on January 6 in Washington, D.C. Look at the photos we've added at https://t.co/MMTOKcDiy7, and if you see someone you recognize, submit a tip at https://t.co/buMd8vYXzH.

Trump’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Week
Since last week, the clamor has been loud for President Trump to be removed from office via either the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution or impeachment. An attempt to push the 25th amendment was quickly shot down Monday morning.
House Democrats followed immediately by introducing an article of impeachment against Trump for “incitement of insurrection.”
