I created the app as a dedicated place for plant parents that has expanded to include a wide range of products, including crystals and home decor. My expertise comes from a heavy technology background from high-level lead engineer positions at major corporations like Instagram and Apple. During my time at Apple Inc., I helped shape the iconic Apple Store App, integrating retail experiences across 400+ Apple Retail Stores worldwide and expanding the shopping experience to the iPad operating system. 

From there, I transitioned to Facebook, where I spearheaded transformative initiatives within Instagram’s direct messaging platform, elevating monthly active users from 50 million to a staggering 400 million and positioning Instagram Direct among the top 5 messaging platforms globally. Now, as Palmstreet’s Founder and CEO, I am dedicated to reshaping the digital commerce landscape. Palmstreet recently released the “Grow 8 Billion Plants‘ campaign, educating users about their environmental contributions and advocating for sustainability.

I could never have imagined the tremendous growth the app would receive so quickly, with over 1 million downloads to date. My vision was to have Palmstreet not only be a buying and selling marketplace but also to offer unique insights into caring for rare and exotic plants where users can learn from trusted sellers and view interactive live streaming. This has created a dynamic atmosphere where customers not only discover unique items but connects with sellers on a personal level to see what exotic plants, crystals, or handmade pottery truly fit into their homes and lifestyles. 

Navigating Palmstreet’s online live-selling marketplace is an adventure of discovery, diversity, and community for those looking to improve the energy of their space through plants, crystals, pottery, and more.
