ShadeCraft SUNFLOWER: Southern California Product Spotlight

Intelligent robotics, meet the outdoors. ShadeCraft, the Los Angeles-based pioneer of autonomous outdoor living solutions, has introduced the world’s first intelligent shading system, SUNFLOWER.

After announcing the product in 2017, ShadeCraft took orders for the first time at CES 2018. The technology adds to ShadeCraft’s reputation as a provider of robotic solutions for shade and other outdoor functions.

ShadeCraftSUNFLOWER features a 10-foot-high robotic umbrella that tracks the sun, using solar power for automation, artificial intelligence, and connectivity to the Internet of Things. It uses a multitude of sensors to collect data, operate autonomously, charge devices, and enhance user experience in real time. Specific features include built-in WiFi, Bluetooth and cellular capabilities, integrated solar panels, an HD camera, voice activation, and lighting controls that give you the options of changing colors, controlling brightness, turning colors on and off, and scheduling timed events.

For its premiere audio- and voice-activated features, ShadeCraft has partnered with Harman International’s audio and far-field input technologies. SUNFLOWER can be used for everything from backyard relaxation to hosting large outdoor parties. Its cost, $8,000, reflects superb IT and top-of-the-line voice and audio features, all while providing a sure-to-impress impact on your yard or party setup.
