Israeli start-up Joyned and leading destination management company NexusTours have announced a strategic partnership that will see Joyned’s travel technology used across NexusTours websites in the Caribbean, Central America, and North America.
Joyned enables customers who go on holiday together to book together through its travel technology add-on Joyned Booking. This will provide a social, cross-website, live experience for NexusTours’ online shoppers across sixteen different countries, including the United States and Mexico.
Enhancing the booking experience across sixteen countries
Joyned’s widget enables people to invite friends and family to NexusTours’ websites, and collaborate in a private, on-site platform to discuss and book group trips. Through deploying Joyned’s innovative social booking technology across their online platforms, NexusTours are able to post their shoppers’ natural social engagements directly on-site.
“Through the utilization of Joyned’s booking technology, we’re not only able to enhance the customer experience, but also maintain a competitive edge in our industry,” Rubén Gutiérrez, President of NexusTours, said: “We’re eager to witness the continuing impact of this innovative group booking solution on our business. So far, we have seen an impressive 20% increase in conversion rate among customers who have used Joyned’s technology.”
Moreover, through enabling on-site collaboration, Joyned transforms the reservation process for Friends & Family (F&F) travelers. This unique approach results in significantly higher conversion rates and an enhanced user experience utilizing the Joyned Booking system.
Innovating the social booking experience within the travel industry
Joyned Booking offers the customers of NexusTours an innovative booking experience, shortening decisions and debates in real-time, allowing F&F travelers to have more time to explore NexusTours’ site offerings which included a choice of trips to 58 destinations.
“We’re delighted that NexusTours will be using our travel technology solution, Joyned Booking, across its sites and we look forward to working closely together in future to provide the best experience possible to customers.” said Jonathan Abraham, CEO of Joyned. “It’s a really exciting time for us to partner with NexusTours and because of our shared desire for state-of-the-art booking technology, we’re confident that this agreement will be a tremendous success.”
Through introducing these innovations to the travel industry, Joyned hopes to shift the focus onto a more collaborative, enjoyable booking experience and provide travel sites, away from disconnected and outdated experiences.
