AI-Driven Vision Test Kiosks at CES 2025: Interview With Eyebot CEO

We discussed the exciting innovations on display and how CES serves as the perfect platform for Eyebot to showcase its tech and connect with potential partners and customers.

Innovation & Tech Today: What can attendees expect to experience when they visit Eyebot’s booth at CES 2025?

Matthias Hofmann: Attendees visiting Eyebot’s booth can experience our AI-driven vision test kiosks firsthand. They will have the opportunity to complete a free, 90-second, fully autonomous vision test, which will assess their vision quality, identify whether their eyeglasses are outdated, and even provide an option for a doctor-reviewed prescription. Our team will be available to demonstrate the kiosks’ features, answer questions, and discuss potential applications for businesses and healthcare providers.

I&T Today: How does CES provide a unique platform for Eyebot to showcase its technology and connect with potential partners or customers?

Hofmann: CES is the premier global stage for showcasing innovative technology, making it an ideal venue for Eyebot to demonstrate our vision test kiosks to a diverse audience. It provides a unique opportunity to connect with potential partners, such as retailers, healthcare providers, and technology innovators, who can benefit from integrating Eyebot’s solutions. The event also attracts media and thought leaders, offering exposure to a global audience and fostering collaborations that can accelerate our mission of making vision care more accessible.

I&T Today: What feedback are you hoping to gather from CES attendees regarding Eyebot’s vision test kiosks?

Hofmann: We aim to gather feedback on the usability and overall experience of the Eyebot kiosks, including the clarity of instructions, comfort during the test, and user satisfaction with the results. We’re also interested in insights from potential partners about integration possibilities, use cases in their environments, and any suggestions for enhancements. This feedback will be critical as we refine our products and identify opportunities to expand our reach.

I&T Today: How do you plan to use the data from the thousands of tests at CES to improve or expand Eyebot’s offerings?

Hofmann: The data collected during CES will help us analyze the performance of our AI algorithms in a real-world, high-traffic environment. Insights from these tests will be used to refine our vision test accuracy, optimize the user interface, and enhance the adaptability of the kiosks to different user profiles. Additionally, the data will guide the development of new features, such as early detection tools for eye health issues, and support the expansion of our services to address broader vision care needs.

I&T Today: What role do you see CES playing in accelerating Eyebot’s mission to make vision care more accessible?

Hofmann: CES is a catalyst for innovation and global outreach. By showcasing our technology at such a prominent event, we can demonstrate the transformative potential of Eyebot’s vision care solutions. CES enables us to forge partnerships, gain valuable insights, and increase awareness of our mission. The exposure and connections made at CES will help drive the adoption of our kiosks, bringing us closer to our goal of making vision care accessible to everyone, equally, at the touch of a button.
