The JVC Diamond Series 4K UHD TV

Unless you’ve been spending your spare time time in a cave, you’ve seen a slew of new terms describing televisions these days: 4K, UHD, Ultra HD, 2K4K, DCI, and more. Unless you’re infatuated with TV tech, you may not have any idea what these terms mean.

In short, it means the long edge of TVs are now 4,000 pixels, as opposed to the previous line of consumer TVs, which were only 1080p. (Short edge are now 2K, hence “2K4K.”) Implications include the capability of a much larger screen with no weird pixilation and higher picture quality on smaller screens. www.jvc.com
