LG NOVA at CES 2025: Pioneering the Future of Health Tech, Clean Tech, and AI

CES 2025 has come to a close, and LG NOVA, the North American Innovation Center of LG Electronics, made a significant impact at the event. This year, LG NOVA showcased transformative technologies designed to improve lives and create a more sustainable world. Their presence at CES highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing innovations in health tech, clean tech, and AI, underscoring the importance of technology that addresses real-world challenges.

“We were excited to return to CES this year to showcase how we’re working with startups to deliver solutions that make a difference,” said Sokwoo Rhee, Head of LG NOVA and EVP at LG Electronics. “CES provided the perfect platform to connect with global innovators and demonstrate our vision for building an ecosystem of impactful technology that can improve lives and contribute to a healthier planet.”

2025 Priorities: Innovation, Sustainability, and Health

At CES 2025, LG NOVA highlighted three key priorities that will shape its initiatives for the coming year:

  • Innovation/AI: LG NOVA is focused on developing AI-driven solutions that center around the human experience, solving real-world problems, and advancing the world to new technological heights.
  • Clean Tech: Expanding access to clean energy and sustainable solutions is a core goal, as LG NOVA partners with startups to drive environmentally responsible practices and technologies.
  • Health Tech: Advancing whole-person digital healthcare for diverse communities, LG NOVA is committed to improving healthcare accessibility and delivering personalized solutions for all.

CES 2025 offered the opportunity to spotlight a range of innovative startups within the LG NOVA ecosystem, all of which are developing technologies that address some of today’s most pressing needs. 

  • CareCam: Streamlining home testing and data sharing for clinical trials, CareCam is improving the efficiency of clinical research by making it more accessible and user-friendly.
  • Canary Speech: This startup uses clinical-grade vocal biomarker technology to enable early detection of cognitive and behavioral conditions through voice analysis.
  • Climative: Leveraging AI, Climative provides insights for low-carbon building upgrades, helping to drive sustainability in the built environment.
  • Primefocus Health: Offering personalized, home-based healthcare solutions, Primefocus Health is focused on improving rural access to healthcare and promoting healthy aging.

In addition to these startups, LG NOVA hosted a series of tech talks at CES, discussing the benefits of collaborating with the LG team and showcasing the latest innovations in health tech, clean tech, and AI.

New Ventures and Innovations

One of the most exciting highlights for LG NOVA at CES 2025 was the introduction of Primefocus Health, their first new venture aimed at improving access to home-based healthcare. Primefocus Health’s platform supports patients’ recovery through remote monitoring and personalized care, addressing challenges like rural healthcare access and healthy aging.

Additionally, Relief AI, a mental health platform powered by advanced AI, was featured at the event. Relief AI tracks and improves patient well-being, offering a solution for the growing mental health crisis.

Other startups in the LG NOVA program, including Continuum and Climative, presented innovations ranging from patient-controlled health hubs to AI-driven decarbonization solutions for buildings, demonstrating the diverse and impactful technologies within the LG NOVA ecosystem.

CES 2025 highlighted trends that align closely with LG NOVA’s mission. Advances in digital healthcare, AI-assisted solutions, and sustainability were key topics at the event.
